An Annual reflection and planning meeting of Green Livelihoods Alliance (GLA) project was co-organized on 13 and 14 September 2019 in a cozy atmosphere in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province by the project partners. Attending the meeting were representatives of partner organizations namely Tropenbos Vietnam, PanNature and Viet Nature Conservation Centre (Viet Nature). This is a periodical activity where the project partners update project progresses, share lessons/challenges and discuss plan for the next year.
Mr. Le Trong Trai presents the report at the meeting
GLA project is sponsored by The Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is being implemented in 9 countries and 16 landscapes in Asia and Africa. In Vietnam the project was started in 2016, being implemented in sub-landscape of Serepok river basin and will be completed by mid-2020 so now it is critical time for project partners to discuss important topics e.g. how to ensure project sustainability upon project phase out, strengthen gender mainstreaming, propose necessary changes in work plan as well as opportunity for next phase.
